Desert ambush

November 2009. Northern Nigeria. 2 French scientists disappear whilst on a mission in the region of Arlit. 2 days later their 4×4 is found in the middle of the desert along with there driver……shot to death. A bloody hostage take. The culprits, a renound band of armed bandits, immediately announce the way things are to go. They want 3 million dollars. Out of the question. Hugo Geoffroy, second in command of the emergency cell at the Quai d’Orsay, and his boss Thomas Villiers are used to this kind of situation. A collaboration with the boss of the Nigerian national security, Boubacar, is immediately put in place.
